My project idea is the advancement of virtual reality in our society, and how it could consume peoples lives. It could also increase job absences, VR nauseous, disconnection from real life, and the blurred line of reality.

My Boyfriend Came Back from the War

I think the piece is about coping with all the feelings she had when her boyfriend was in the war. She wrote down all the questions she kept asking herself. 

In my opinion it is a really good work because it is very interactive and engages the viewer. It is a great piece of Art, especially for the early days of the web.

I feel as though this piece was about depression of when he felt and all the emotions she went through. I continue to wonder what was she like before he left?
How does is challenge expectations about web design and linear narrative?
To me instead of the standard blog where you scrolled down and up on a page, you were more engaged with it because you had to keep clicking to go deeper into the blog. It's almost I clicking deeper inside her mind...

What I love- Quincy

I love just about anything that interest me, whether that's posting content or putting out a silly video. Anything that allows me to be creative and just standing out. From art to music and a platform of things. This picture I took was for an mixtape cover and I staged the scene and all that.

Project One Ideas

For the first project I want to focus on the growing line between the rich and the poor. This will illustrate how the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer and how there will be just the rich and the poor with no middle class.

I love animals

I love animals, especially frogs. It was great being able to go to the zoo during freshman orientation, and hang out with both old and new friends. Me and my friends were all eager to ride the carousel, and seeing that they had a frog only made the experience better. The last time I rode the carousel was when I was a kid, but I've been to the zoo multiple times in more recent years. I loved seeing all the different animals as a kid, and I still do now.

Project One Ideas

For my project i want to look into the future of health and science, but i'll specifically be focusing on bio-printing. I ran into a science fiction project about "modular bodies," and i want to explore the possibilities of our bio-printing technology advancing to something like that in the future. Modular Bodies would make surgery unnecessary and could, in theory, greatly improve a humans life expectancy. Currently there's improvements being made in the bio-printing field with the goal to be able to 3-d print working organs, which is something we may see in a more near future.

Quincy Spirit Animal

My Spirit animal has to be an eagle! They fly high and can see everything, plus they have a lot of meanings.

One of the many things I like to do is, of course, swim.

I have been swimming since I was about 6 years old.
I am currently on the Bellarmine swim team.
Before that, I have been with Lakeside Swim Team for 11 - 12 years, and I haven't stopped since then.

A project idea I had in mind for "What The Future Holds" is how robots would change our future. 

Project One Ideas

I have a couple of ideas for my first project actually. I honestly don't like the beginning of projects because their are so many possible ways to go! But I think I would either like to focus on (1) The future of the fashion industry or (2) The future of connectivity and networking as a whole.

The Fashion Industry

I have always had a love for putting together outfits. Over time I have noticed in my generation alone the way that clothing styles change and trends form. More recently I have observed the way that older trends are making a comeback, it would be really cool to explore what exactly what others think will happen in the future.

Connectivity & Networking

I have become very fond of networking and meeting other people. It's just something that I really really enjoy doing now a days. I think it would be really cool to explore the ways that people connect and network (not just social media) but also the ways that meeting others in person can evolve and change. It could be really interesting to me!

What I Love

This is what I love to do..I love to dress up for church on Sundays. Sundays are literally my favorite day of the week. I have a strong relationship with Jesus and I love to grow in him with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I love picking out my outfit the night before and getting up to fellowship with them and taking my Sunday nap after church. I love it!

What I Love and Project Ideas

I love going to concerts and festivals, especially when they include my favorite band, The Maine.

For the first project, I want to focus on how different the world will be if we continue to let giant businesses grow, hurting smaller local ones. 

Some things I would include are giant skyscrapers, franchises and chains everywhere, as well as an image focusing on how similar streets in different cities would appear. This project would basically be the opposite of "Keep Louisville weird."

My new love that I bought over the summer! Right after getting her home and about to go riding.

During the summer I get the opportunity to teach middle school and high schooler cheerleaders. I've been with Universal Cheerleaders Association for four years now. When I travel during the summer I go to different cities throughout Kentucky and Tennessee meeting tons of kids and trying to be a role model for them. This girl, Emily, or as I call her short stack, made an impression on me. When I first got to this middle school team Emily was the most shy of the girls and didn't really participate at first. The coach told me about how Emily has had a rough home life and that she lives with her grandmother and my heart broke into pieces. I made it a goal to make this girl smile anytime i saw her and not only did I accomplish that but she made me realize why I love my job. This picture was taken right before I left to go home and she gave me a hug and thanked me for making her laugh all the time.  

Project idea: What the Future May Hold 

I want to do this project on global warming. Global warming has been predicted to 

• Increase Earth's average temperature
• Influence the patterns and amounts of precipitation
• Reduce ice and snow cover, as well as permafrost
• Raise sea level
• Increase the acidity of the oceans
• Increase the frequency, intensity, and/or duration of extreme events
• Shift ecosystem characteristics
• Increase threats to human health

the reason I want to do this is because I've never been really good with graphic design and with this concept it will allow me to test my abilities and get my creative juices flowing.

This photo is of me watching college football, something I enjoy and spend most fall Saturdays doing. Also, University of Texas beat Notre Dame, which made me very happy.

Ideas for the project "What does the future hold?" include:
-Rising water levels and the Pacific Northwest: This would be personal for me both as I have family in Washington State and lived there for 8 years, but  also because rising water levels threaten coasts across the world, and are not predicted to stop rising, due to the unprecedented melting of the polar ice caps.
-Augmented Reality for Daily Life: This would involve a technological view of the future, as seen maybe through an updated Google Glass like contraption, with a blending of perception and reality under what truly is becomes obscured.

I would like to make my project about data driven society and show how our life is influenced by data and technology. Maybe I will make my pictures about how our generation grew up and how our children will grow up, to show how much impact technology and data have on our lives, from the beginning on.
